Our stunning Dolphin Coast boasts warm subtropical climatic conditions that are ideal for small scale renewable energy solutions and rainwater harvesting.
Our hot water facilitation and pool heating is full Solar with hardly any extra electricity needed.
All the lighting in and around the Villa is low wattage Led.
The Photo Voltaic part of our solar / wind / battery hybrid system is already up and running. Once completed the goal is to supply 100% of our electricity with “homemade” energy
So far with 15000L storage, we already managed to cover more than 80 % of our average water consumption through rainwater harvesting and storage.
We will have to ad another 5000L to be self sustained even in the dry Winter.
